It is now 2007 in India. Our hotel threw two New Years parties and we closed them both down. We started out at the first party and had dinner there. That party turned out to be a little lame so we headed over to the other party. The bouncers told us that we could not get in but said we could go look around for a minute and then leave. While we were inside the manager came and told us that we could stay and get the rest of our friends. The drinks at the first party were free but not at the second one. When I tried to pay for my beer the manager came over and said something to the bar tender and our drinks were free all night. They also brought out an extra table for us to sit at but we spent most of the night dancing.

They had an MC giving away prizes all night. She started out organizing games and would give the prize to the winner. Twards the end she just picked people out of the crowd and brought them on stage to give them a prize. So, Jennie... we won a two night stay in the Taj Hari Mahal Hotel in Jodhpur. I have no clue where that is but I'm sure it is nice!!!

After the second party ended we went back to the first one because the were still playing music. At one point we were the only 5 people left on the dance floor. An Indian guy came up to me and shook my hand and said with a smile "You party long time!". We stayed until the final song.
