The wedding was itself was crazy. It started with a band, a bag pipe band, playing a number of songs while Akash prepared to climb up on the white charger for the procession to the wedding ceremony.

The bag pipes made things a little surreal. It was odd to be in India at an Indian wedding with what looked like a Scottish band playing. The band played as Akash climbed on the white horse and rode about two blocks to the entrance of the building where the wedding was held. All of the groom's friends and family danced in a crowd in front of the horse. Aparently this was the first time that Akash had ridden a horse.



Unfortunatly my camera was not working through most of the ceremony so I will try to copy and post other peoples pictures but for now here are my pictures.
